Making custom leather pieces for our customers is a blast, because it feels like making a special piece of art that someone will treasure forever. The Shells pattern in particular (pictured below) allows us to make dozens of micro paintings that each have their own interest. One extra fun part of working with vegetable tanned leather is how much of the owners lifestyle the sling bag can take on. Over time, vegetable tanned leather, or veg tan leather will naturally absorb oil, moisture, sun, and warmth.
