I am sensitive to metal. What is your jewelry made out of?
For our Studs: All of our posts use a sterling silver base metal plated in our extra-thick 14k gold plating. Our Titan ear wires are a brass base with the same thick gold plating.
For our Necklaces: Our necklaces use a brass base with a thick layer of 14k gold or sterling silver over top of them. No turning your neck green around here!
About our Plating: Not all gold plating is equal. We plate our jewelry with 14k gold that is 1 micron thick (20x thicker than most gold plating). From the posts to the butterfly back, we plate our jewelry well because it makes for a durable piece of jewelry that will last for years to come. The look and feel of solid gold at a fraction of the price? Yes please.

How do I care for my Cold Gold leather goods?
What to Avoid: Keep your Cold Gold leather goods looking & feeling their very best by keeping them away from large amounts of water - submerging your leather goods may change the wear and appearance. Light colored keychain wristlets may darken slightly over time, but most will keep their true color and brilliance for years to come.
Cleaning: Spot clean your crossbody bag, sling bag, or wallet with a soft cloth and warm, slightly soapy water - make sure your cloth is damp not soggy! Polish brass hardware with a brass polishing cloth or clean microfiber cloth. Don’t have those? A clean, old t-shirt works great too.
How do I care for my Cold Gold jewelry?
What to Avoid: Keep your jewelry shiny and happy by keeping it away from excessive amounts of water and sweat. It’s best to remove them before swimming, showering, sleeping, exercising, and white water rafting.
Storage: We recommend storing your piece in a cool dry place, like a jewelry box, a jewelry stand, or a dresser drawer. (The box it came in works great, too.)
Cleaning: If desired, polish your jewelry with a microfiber cloth for extra shine. Note that you should stay away from using jewelry cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they could wear away the gold-plated finish.

Shipping & Returns
When will my order ship?
Your order will leave our studio 1-3 business days after the order is placed, depending on if we need to make the item or not. Most items are ready-to-ship, but sometimes, you’ll catch us mid-restock.
I’d like to send a gift to someone. Can I ship to a different address?
Absolutely, you can. Make sure your billing address matches your method of payment, and enter your recipient’s shipping address. You can even include a note for your recipient at checkout!
If you’re sending Cold Gold as a gift, include your note under "Is this a gift?" in your cart before checking out.
What shipping carrier do you use?
We use USPS for all of our shipping. If you prefer another method, email me before your purchase so we can calculate an accurate shipping price.
How long will my order take to arrive?
All domestic packages are shipped via USPS and include tracking/confirmation in the shipping cost. You can choose economy or standard shipping at checkout. Economy shipments will arrive in 3-5 days and standard shipments arrive is 2-3 days. It doesn't happen often, but some shipments may take an additional 2-3 days to ship - watch out for Christmas shipping times to increase!
All international orders are shipped either USPS International. Prices vary based on location and shipping method. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Where do I find my tracking number?
You will receive an email confirmation that includes a USPS tracking number. You can visit USPS’s Tracking Page to track your order. For international orders, it will vary by your country - please CONTACT US if you are concerned about your shipment!
What is your return policy?
You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. During the months of November and December, our return policy is extended to 30 days.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, with tags and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
In the case of no fault returns or exchanges, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
To start a return, please CONTACT US.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
All sales are final in the case of custom orders.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please reach out so we can assess the issue.

What happens if my order gets lost in the mail?
Oh no! If something never arrives, please contact us. We will look into any and all issues regarding packages not arriving. Once confirmed, we can replace lost items. Did this already happen to you? Let us know here!
Checkout & Payments
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Meta Pay, and Paypal. Money orders, checks, and cash are not accepted for online purchases.
Can I include a note for my recipient?
If you’re sending Cold Gold as a gift, we’re happy to include a personalized note. Include your note under "Is this a gift?" in your cart before checking out, and we’ll take care of the rest.
