Care
What to Avoid: Keep your geo studs shiny and happy by keeping them away from excessive amounts of water and sweat. It’s best to remove them before swimming, showering, sleeping, exercising, and white water rafting.
Storage: We recommend storing your earrings in a cool dry place, like a jewelry box, an earring stand, or a dresser drawer. (The tin these came in works great, too.)
Cleaning: If desired, polish your Geo Studs with a microfiber cloth for extra shine. Note that you should stay away from using jewelry cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they could wear away the gold-plated finish.
Allergy Information
Metal Allergy? You're in luck! Choose the stud that fits your need: We offer both a sterling silver base and a brass base option for our studs - both are plated in our extra-thick 14k gold plating. Both pairs of studs are hypoallergenic and are nickel and lead free. We chose to use an extra thick (1 micron thick, to be exact) 14k gold plating so that they won't wear over time.
The perfect everyday stud. These 14k gold plated studs are ideal for regular wear, because the mix of pure gold and alloyed metal makes them more durable than soft 24k gold. They are a great choice for both a traditional lobe piercing and a second hole piercing making them super versatile.
All Cold Gold items are made by hand in small batches in Knoxville, TN.

How do I care for my Cold Gold Earrings?
Avoid getting them super-wet (showering, swimming, monsoons, etc). Store them in a cool, dry place - or even the card them come on - for a longer life. You can polish the gold-plated brass with a cloth, but never use acetone or harsh chemicals on your studs. Got more questions, feel free to CONTACT US.
